In an attempt to uncover an ancient, hidden artifact, young archaeologist Makura Kayne along with his fellow partners and friends are tragically murdered at the hands of a mysterious, godlike being accidentally awakened by them. 10 years later, Japan now infested with demonic, man eating creatures called Xenos who only prowl the land at night, lives Makura's younger brother, Kazuki Kayne, who lives a happy but impoverished life with his crippled mother, blind twin sister Kaya and younger siblings. On a fateful night, Kazuki's family is attacked in their home and horrifically massacred by a mysterious Xeno, leaving Kazuki and Kaya as the only survivors. Consumed by hatred and vengeance, the twins join a mysterious organisation of Jujutsu Samurais called the Xeno Hunters who specialize in killing Xenos and embark on a journey into the blood drenched land of the Xenos to find their family's murder and uncover the hidden secrets of both worlds.
