When is my card charged?

You pay $1 now to reserve. We charge the rest only if the campaign reaches its goal. If it doesn't, we refund the $1. VIP passes are refundable until the campaign ends.

Full explanation

Two charges, in this order:

1. $1 when you confirm your pledge. This holds your spot at the current price and adds you to the backer count.
2. The rest, when the campaign reaches its goal. You'll get an email a week before with the exact amount (product cost plus shipping to your address).

If the campaign doesn't reach its goal, we refund the $1 automatically. You never pay more than $1 unless the campaign funds.

Your card must stay valid until the second charge. If it expires before then, we'll email you a link to update it. You don't need to pledge again.

VIP passes work differently: they cost $1 in total and are refundable until the campaign ends. The pledge card tells you which applies.
